www.NewYorkJewelryOnline.com has a 14 day return/exchange policy on all website products except those mentioned below. Any returned items must be received by us within 14 days of the invoice date. Earrings, Custom Work, Wedding Rings, Special Ordered Ring Sizes, Special Orders, Personalized or Engraved Items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Items Must Be Returned In Their Original State And Condition. If the Items are Not in Their Original State and Condition, All Return Privileges Will Be Withdrawn.
Return shipments can only be made after you receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) from us. This number must be marked clearly on the front of the returned package and must be sent, along with the original invoice, via an insured carrier, to our company address:

Your returned package must include all the original packaging and all of the original Diamond certification reports. There will be a replacement charge of US$250 per diamond certificate in the event the original diamond certification is not returned.
Shipping charges previously paid by the customer at the time of purchase are non-refundable. The customer is also liable for all shipping, insurance, and handling costs associated with the return. Shipping and handling costs will be refunded only when the return is due to our error.
Please insure all jewelry before returning the product to us. We will not be liable for any loss or damage which may occur during the return process if the goods are not insured.

Return Process
Call or Email our Customer Support Center to obtain your Return Authorization Number (RAN).
Place the jewelry and all original packaging documents and certificates in a box.
Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box.
Insure all products for the proper total US$Dollar amount and return them to us through FedEx.
Report the FedEx tracking number to our Customer Support Center at Support@NewYorkJewelryOnline.com .
We will process your EXCHANGE following satisfactory inspection of the returned items. Upon satisfactory inspection of the returned items (items are not damaged) we will promptly mail the items you are exchanging for the returned items.

What if I decide to change my order after I have paid for it?
To cancel or change an order call our Customer Support Center at (866) 744-5010 or email Support@NewYorkJewelryOnline.com as soon as possible.
Our order management system is designed to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently so we cannot cancel or change an order once the shipping process has started. If your order has already been shipped and you are unhappy with your choice you can simply follow our return policy to obtain a refund.
For earrings, custom work, special orders, personalized or engraved items, there is no cancellation period.

We are not responsible for your negligence with your gold.
We will determine whether a defect is a manufacturer's defect or the result of customer negligence. All exchanges MUST be accompanied by your receipt and must be exchanged promptly within seven days of the sale.
NYJ strongly recommends that you do not sleep in your jewelry; especially, earrings, herringbone, hollow rope, or stamp link necklaces and bracelets.
Delicate items should be treated with extra care or else they may become damaged at the customer's expense.
Do not expose gold to harsh chemicals such as bleach, formaldehyde, or Brasso.
For hygienic reasons, earrings may not be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturer’s defect and we check them before they are sent out.
Sensitivity to one type of karated gold may occur for a variety of reasons, such as allergies to the base metals within the gold, as well as your diet and medication. Because you may be allergic to one karat of gold does not mean your allergic to all gold. Simply move up the karated line and get more gold. For example if you are allergic to 10K gold, get 14K or 18K gold, which has fewer base metals and more gold. Only you can be aware of any type of sensitivity of you have to a particular karat of gold.
Exposure to chemicals (such as bleach) or chemicals in water, especially untreated rusty well water, can also affect the appearance of gold by making it look “dirty”. Please take your jewelry off when you go into pools and Jacuzzi’s because they have chlorine (bleach) in them, which will ruin your gold. Some jewelry boxes and some cotton in gift boxes are treated with formaldehyde, which can also make jewelry look “dirty” and need polishing and cleaning. In most cases, the natural luster of the gold can be restored simply by polishing and cleaning.
We encourage you to regularly clean and polish all your jewelry for the best results. Remember, polishing will not help with effects of the harshest chemicals on gold, such as Brasso and bleach. Such chemicals as Brasso can dissolve the chemical bonding within the gold, making the gold soft enough to pull apart! Exposure to chemicals is an example of an individual’s negligence with their gold, because the individual and not the manufacturer exposed their gold to chemicals.
